Katerina Kovanji is a mezzo-soprano and international opera artist whose work moves between the great traditions of opera, the contemporary stage, and the creation of new cultural encounters.

A multilingual artist, she speaks English, French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and Russian, and performs in all six languages, as well as in Chinese. Her ability to move naturally between languages allows her to approach opera not simply as music, but as a meeting of cultures, voices and stories. Her artistic journey has taken her from the great traditions of opera to international concert stages and festivals, where she combines a powerful vocal presence with a profound sense of theatre, character and storytelling.

Founder and Artistic Director of Corsica Lirica, Katerina has also created Symphony of Cultures, bringing together exceptional artists and musicians from different countries through the universal language of music. Her work extends beyond performance. She conceives opera as a living cultural force: a place where languages, cultures and generations meet.

Opera is not simply something she performs.
It is a world she creates, carries and shares.
